Lucille M. Nixon Elementary School Cultural Festival

Another fabulous demonstration at Nixon Elementary School! Helping out Korea’s booth, our team proudly represented Korean culture at the festival. Before our demonstration, we had lots of children try out board-breaking as part of our program. Not only that, our performance was the finale of the event. 

Walter Hays Elementary School Cultural Festival

At Walter Hays Elementary School Cultural Festival, the Kicks and Connections team was able to have our second demonstration successfully. After setting up the mats ourselves, our performance happened right next to the students. Because of the proximity, it was a lot more engaging for all of us. After that, we of course had a board-breaking session for the students to try Taekwondo themselves.

Lunar New Year Demonstration

The first performance of Kicks and Connections! We were honorably invited to perform at the Palo Alto Art Center for Lunar New Year. It was an extraordinary experience to perform Taekwondo in front of the Palo Alto Community. After the demonstration, we also had a booth set out for the families and children to try board-breaking.
